Korea Day 2025

The Korean Society of Christchurch would like to invite you to their annual cultural event, Korea Day, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Free Trade Agreement between New Zealand and South Korea.

The event will feature cultural booths from 3 - 6pm Saturday, followed by a special performance by the Incheon City Dance Theatre. Head down to the Christchurch Town Hall to get involved.

Ride for Motorcycle Awareness Month

Come along to the Ulysses Motorcycle Club's ride for motorcycle awareness month this weekend, meet from 9.30am Saturday at Cathedral Square by the Chalice, and leaving at 10.30am. Red Knights MC ex fireman services will be assisting on route to The Spinal Unit out in Burwood, where all money raised on the day will go towards the spinal trust. It's also a chance for current and other patients to come and look over the bikes in the car park.

Over 200 sausages will be on offer cooked by the Spinal Trust team, and Ornsby Motorcycle Training will be on hand to speak to members of the public about ongoing trading and newbies wanting to start riding. Ulysees club Secretary Jason Batchelor has organized this event and hopes this will be an annual event to raise awareness for motorcycles and raise money for the Spinial Trust.
