The WORD Christchurch Festival 2025 is underway, jam-packed with events and more than 100 writers, thinkers and performers. Ōtautahi Christchurch will host a feast of fresh ideas, fun nights out, captivating stories and powerful performances.

Snacks are provided, come along to Aldersgate at 1/309 Durham Street North from 7.30 – 9.30pm Friday.
Come along to Alliance Française Christchurch from 10am – 1pm Saturday for the Vintage Clothes Market. Search through a treasure trove of pre-loved fashion finds, many from France/Europe, and some French books and other items.
Alliance Française Christchurch is located at 275 Cashel Street.
The Akaroa French Festival Fundraising Night Market will be on this Saturday evening, showcasing what Akaroa has to offer! Come along for food stalls, live music, raffles and games.
The market will be on from 4 – 9pm Saturday at 6 Rue Lavaud. This is a fundraiser for the main Festival, so there is a $5 entrance fee for adults.
